Danny Falla, 5boro Interview with none other than 5 Boro team rider, Danny Falla. What is your name? Daniel Falla How old are you? 23 years old. Where are you from? I'm originally from Lima, Peru. I lived in Queens for 9 years and now I live in Brooklyn. Who are your current sponsors? 5boro, Matix, Lakai, Autobahn, Venture, Rockstar bearings, Rival skateshop, and Bonerbolts Tell us about why you skateboard. Cuz it's better than doin' drugs. How long have you been skateboarding? I don't remember, 8 ,9 years maybe. Tell us how you got into skateboarding? My brother used to skate,soo i always wanted to do what he was doin. What was your first setup? I think a Santa Cruz board..don't remember. I always used to skate old messed up boards that my brother skated. My first brand new board I think it was a Blind - Guy mariano. What is your current setup? 5boro logo board, yellow n green Venture lows, 50mm Autobahns, Rockstar bearings. Name a couple of your favorite skate spots. Flushin Meadow Park,River banks. What tricks are you currently working on? Workin on landing tricks. Who was the last person(s) you skated with? Where? Willy Akers and Steve Rodriguez at Mount weather, lastnight . What skateboarders are you impressed with today? Why? Marc Johnson cuz he always does. he's just amazin, Guy Mariano. Describe your worst fall. I was skatin this flatbar years ago n I just learned kickflip frontboards, so I was just doin them over and over, n one of them I dont know what happened but the board didn't flip right and i landed with my balls on the board standin' up. Got a wound size of golf ball under my balls n cut one of them, I was bleedin  n couldn't really sleep well for a whole week, I had to sleep with my legs open face up, like if i was givin birth, it sucked.  What do you do outside of skateboarding? Right now I'm tryin to get a part time job goin, sometimes I work randomly with my girls stepdad upstate. What are your fears? Losin my memory Tell us about a personal experience you've had that we should all learn from. 3 of my really good friends were drinking n decided to drive around the neighborhood , they saw me n were messin around , goin fast, the driver almost ran me over then lost control, hit 3 cars that were parked n then hit a high curve n crashed into a fence.i helped them out of the car, they could have died, luckily they just broke a few bones n stuff, soo don't drink and drive. What would you like to improve about yourself? Responsability,my english,my skatin. What are your plans for the future? Travel alot hopefully, visit places i never thought i would go to, keep on skating hard. Do you have any advice for the skateboarders reading this? Enjoy life, it's too short Last question. Favorite diner in New Jersey? I don't think i ever been to a Diner in Jersey. Do you have any last words?
